Famitsu has a brand new report on Animal Crossing: Jump out this week. We’ve started to translate some of the details below. Keep checking back for more edits/information throughout the night.

- Now play as the mayor
- Roofs, doors, posts, fences appear to be customizable
- New furniture… including mermaid items
- New thrift shop from Lisa the alpaca
- Shoe store has been added

Able Sisters (open 10:00 – 21:00)

- Familiar clothes shop

Museum (open 24 hours)

- Similar to previous entries
- Increase in the types of fish and fossils
- Exhibition Room included
- Museum Shop included

Gardening store (open 9:00 to 20:00)

- Purchase flower seeds and tree seedlings

Raccoon housing (open 10:00 to 20:00)

- Tom Nook seems to be managing this aspect

Bean/grain store (open 8:00 – 20:00)

Harvest Moon versus Animal Crossing hahaha

It's good that HM has competition, but I think Animal Crossing is more known for its Wi-fi Multiplayer, I wish you could play like that on Harvest Moon.

Animal Crossing is most effective if you have friends to play it with.. while HM is a single player.

HM really needs Multiplayer.

I wonder if Rune Factory has any competition.

So I was browsing walmart.com (to preorder the next Sailor Moon manga, but that's besides the point, lol), and I happened to go ahead and do a search for "3DS," mostly to check out their accessories. I came across this listing for Animal Crossing, which isn't the weird thing. The weird thing is the product box they have shown. Mind you, it looks sooooo legit with its 3DS logo white bar on the DS side of the box and the oh-so-official-looking 3DS logo (please note my sarcasm), but I just thought it was interesting that it had a subtitle I hadn't seen before: "New Frontier."

I'm pretty sure it's all fake, but I just thought it should be mentioned. :3

That box art must be fake since AC hasn't gotten a box art pic on Nintendo.com that I know of.
I have seem that art on deviantart.con and a few other places though.
Makes you wonder if Nintendo might use FanArt for the box art this time though.
