My first was Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland for the Playstation 2. I saw it at the store, and I never even heard of Harvest Moon, but I bought it anyway 'cause the cover was cute. And when I played it...

My first game was Harvest Moon DS. I'd been wanting it for 2 whole years, but in the end I had to get it on Amazon myself. I absolutley loved the TV ad for it! I was slightly ashamed that you could only play as a boy character, plus coz I didn't have FoMT I couldn't connect, so I got Harvest Moon DS Cute and a second-hand MFoMT (ordered online by me OF COURSE) next, and LOVED them. I still play on them LOADS Oh yeah, and when I was choosing HM, I could've chosen IoH, but I wanted what I'd originally asked for

My first Harvest Moon game was A Wonderful Life for the Gamecube. It took awhile to get used to it but once I was then I loved it. Sadly I fell away from the series for a few years then I jumped back into it with Tree of Tranquility.
