No word on a solution that is a permanent fix yet as far as I know.

That's disappointing -__-
It's why I stopped playing my game and when I picked it up to play the other day of course it froze.
Didn't even do pet mini game.

Not another word yet.
The rumored upcoming 3DS update includes "* Ability to update physical Nintendo 3DS Games via Nintendo Shop (DLC feature)."

Hoping DLC's includes a fix.

Now that patch are possible for the 3DS can we expect a patch TToTT on the 3DS ?

Or you guys simply don't care about this game anymore...

Ultimately patches are the sole purview of the developers. We've identified for them what we can, and now it's unfortunately out of our hands beyond close communication and follow up, which we're doing

My god about time. Big N is patching MK7 Maka Wuhu glitch. Hope this gets a patch. Its been like.... 6 months?

I hope the makers of the game do make a patch for Tale of Two Towns.

Oh right, If anyone got the newest 3DS system update than you noticed the Eshop looks different.
If you go to a blank spot on your home screen though you can make 'Folders' now!
I made 2 folders to house my downloaded Eshop stuff and the stuff that came already on the 3DS.
I played my game for 6 hours after making the folders with no lags!

Rumor has it that the European 3DS version has corrected the freezing issue. While it is out of your hands Natsume are you aware if the fix on the European cartridges can be seen to make it's way to the US region?

I got an email from Natsume stating the following:

"Hello,

We are currently looking into the possibility of patching this game,as Nintendo's latest firmware update allows that. However,as the program is still very new,it will take some time to see what is required to patch the game."

Let's hope this happens...

Thank you for providing this information. I was getting increasingly frustrated with the game as it seemed that every other day the game would freeze at the very end of the day, on my way home to go to bed and save. With the suggestions you have made I have been able to play with no occurrences of freezing yet.

I would like to say however that is completely ridiculous to make a handheld game that does not allow you to save more frequently. I play a handheld system as I do not have time to sit in front of TV consoles for long periods of time. I play on my way to work and on my lunch breaks. If I cannot finish the day in these designated periods of time, I am forced to close the system and hope that the game isn't frozen when I open it back up. You should very seriously consider changing this feature in the future. It is a sever handicap to a handheld game that you can only save once every 30 minutes to an hour.
