how do you upgrade the rank of your trees??
this is probably a really stupid question but I seriously dont know XD

I'm pretty sure you have to use the fertiliser stuff while they're still growing or something like that

hmm im not sure... for awhile i was thinking that you convert it back into a seed with fertilizer but im not sure. on fogu they only mention crops but not the trees.. I would really love a 5 star tree though XD

It is the same process for trees as it is for crops. You'll need to place fertilizer next to the tree while it is growing. Trees take much longer to grow than crops, so there is a chance you might reach a 5-star fruit producing tree by the time it is full grown. Just use several fertilizer sticks next to the tree.

If you don't reach a 5-star rank, then you'll need to convert its fruit into seeds and start the process again with the upgraded seeds.

And don't put fertilizers on trenches if you want to fertilize trees. They should be on single tilled soils.

I always seem to mess up trenches when wanting to plant trees...I think there secretly cursing me and then laughing....Then again, I bad at making trenches period...

You can buy them from Gombe, I tink he starts selling them in year 2.. not sure though.
